Pre-K 100 - Winter Study

Pre-K 100 is Learning All About Winter

During a unit of study, our center activities change to reflect the learning we are doing. This month, instead of sand in the sensory table, we made......SNOW!!!

                              Winter Sensory Snow

Ingredients for Winter Sensory Snow:
1 Bar of Soap
A roll of toilet paper torn into pieces
1 Cup of water

First we grated the soap and ripped toilet paper into small pieces in a large bowl or a bin.
Next, we carefully added about one cup of water.
Finally, we mixed it up and we had created Winter Sensory Snow.

Parents, we encourage you to make this Winter Snow at home!

Coto pretending to be a bear and is going to hibernate in her cave for the winter.

We also continue to study a letter each week. When we studied the letter I, we did a little cooking alongside the letter learning!
